[EN] This is My Body… offers a feminist and queer interpretation of many artists’ and poets’ works from the late 1960s to the present. It links and articulates language and body, the way both are alienated and constrained within ideologies, and the ways they can expand beyond binarisms and norms into new narrative and poetic mechanisms. Supporting curatorial practices which aim at encompassing social and political change, Paraguay is happy to publish a second book with curator Lilou Vidal, after her Guy Mees, The Lost Space. Richly illustrated, This is my body… includes newly commissioned essays by Quinn Latimer, Émilie Notéris and Lilou Vidal and an anthology of artists’ texts: poems, hypertexts, scripts, notes, song lyrics, quotes, or extracts from these pluri-linguistic thoughts.
